From the "Competition" tab, find the scores and comments of your competitors, drawn from their respective social networks and external sources.
Your competitive monitoring is scaling up. Do not just watch your competitors from afar: now analyse their customer feedback with the same precision as your own.
You can access this page from the left sidebar menu via the "Competition" tab.
💭 To access this page, your user profile must have the associated "Competition" permission.
The competition page offers a consolidated and succinct view of competitor KPIs derived from social networks and external sources within your system, which you can filter by period to explore in detail according to your analysis needs. It is divided into 2 distinct tabs: the first is dedicated to the quantitative analysis of competitive trends, the second to qualitative analysis of the competition (semantic analysis and details of scores and customer comments from your competitors).
Overview
Advanced Competitive Analysis is a feature designed to extend your "Voice of the Customer" (VoC) listening beyond your own feedback. By offering a consolidated view of competitor reviews (Google, Trustpilot, etc.), it provides a comprehensive comparative panorama to precisely position your performance.
Until now, observing the competition often remained superficial. To go beyond simple consultation, SatisFactory evolves its comparative analysis with a new page dedicated to advanced competitive analysis. From the moment you integrate your external data streams (Google, TrustPilot, TripAdvisor, Appstore, etc.), access detailed scores by brand and establishment. Go further with an unprecedented semantic comparison and consolidated charts to identify your real strengths against the market. This automated benchmark covers a panel of 10 establishments for an immediate 360° vision of your ecosystem.
The benefits of competition analysis:
- 360° view of market positioning: Obtain a clear overall view of your place compared to other sector players on specific review sites and online platforms
- Quick identification of performance gaps: Detect rating and volume differences at a glance to adjust your actions
- Detection of improvement opportunities: Identify your strengths and weaknesses compared to the competition through field data analysis
- Automated and updated benchmarking: Enjoy continuous competitive monitoring for strategic decision support based on reliable data
Using filters
To deepen the analysis of your system against the competition, you can apply filters to limit the page display to the target data you wish to analyse.
At the top right of the page, simply click on the button showing a funnel icon named "Filters".
When clicked, a window opens, allowing you to select your filters according to:
- a reference period (specific dates or intervals)
- one or more key indicators (CSAT, NPS, Google Score, etc.)
- semantic analysis (comments with negative polarity, themes related to response times, etc.)
- or additional data (questionnaire ID, system data, business data, responses, etc.)
Switching views
In the top right corner of the page, you can access the view selector which allows you to switch from a strategic view (Brand view) to an operational view (Site view) with one click.
The page will automatically refresh according to your choice.
| Brand View | Site View |
| Ideal for obtaining a macro view, it consolidates scores from all your establishments and local pages to compare them with the scores of competing brands | Ideal for obtaining a micro view, it details the scores of the establishment or local page within your analysis perimeter to compare it with those of direct local competitors |
Switching channels
Also in the top right corner of the page, you can determine the data source (channel) you want to analyse for your competitive benchmark.
The channel selection dropdown menu allows you to filter the page results according to the origin of the external data, based on the channels you have already integrated into the platform.
The page will automatically refresh according to your choice.
⚠️ The channels available in this dropdown list depend on the external data sources you have already integrated into the SatisFactory platform.
The available channels are as follows: Google Business Profile, TrustPilot, TripAdvisor, Facebook, Google Play Store, Apple Appstore, TheFork, Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking, and Zoover.
The "Trends" section
The "Trends" section is divided into two parts.
The "Performance Indicators" section
In the "Performance Indicators" section, you access the three key measures that summarise your competitive health over the selected period and filters. These indicators allow you to immediately position your network or establishment relative to the average of the monitored brands and local players.
Here you will find:
- Average note: Your average score calculated from all public reviews collected over the selected period
- Position: The current rank of your brand or your page/establishment among all pages/establishments in the competitive panel
- Leader gap: The point difference separating your brand or your page/establishment from the highest-rated competing brand or page/establishment
The "Competitive Analysis" section
In the "Competitive Analysis" section, you access the visual and numerical details of your positioning against the competition to identify your strengths and areas for improvement.
This panorama consists of two complementary analysis tools:
| Evolution of grades over time | Competitor ranking |
| This interactive chart allows you to follow the satisfaction dynamics of your brand or your establishments/pages compared to your competitors over the chosen period, with the possibility to adjust the chart interval | This table exhaustively lists all your own and competing brands or establishments/pages, ordered by performance |
| Hovering over the chart points displays a tooltip giving you the precise rating details of each brand/page/establishment at a given interval |
The ranking includes:

The "Reviews" section
The "Reviews" section is divided into two areas:
- the semantic comparison
- the detail of customer reviews
The data displayed on the page also relies on the brands and establishments/pages selected in the left panel.
The "Comparison" area
In the "Comparison" area, you access a cross semantic analysis (based on your own classification plan), which allows you to contrast your customers’ perception with that of your competitors’ customers. A colour bar indicates for each semantic concept the proportion of positive (green), neutral (grey), and negative (red) topics identified in the collected reviews.
💭 By activating the "Show my statistics (XXX)" button, you can compare the most recurring themes in your comments, while also having a view of those of the selected competitors.
⚠️ Qualitative competition analysis requires programming the semantic analysis engine via AI prompt (learn more).
The "Client Reviews" area
Finally, in the "Client Reviews" area, you access the raw data, that is, the full verbatim posted by customers on your competitors’ listings and pages.
This panorama allows you to:
- Consult the full text of reviews to understand precisely the reasons for satisfaction or dissatisfaction among your competitors
- Filter reviews by date or by specific establishment/page/brand to conduct a targeted field investigation
- Identify best practices or recurring friction points among your competitors to adapt your own commercial strategy
