Explore your data in detail by using filters to segment your analyses on the SatisFactory platform.
At any time on the platform, you can apply filters to a page to segment the displayed data and thus refine your strategic or operational analysis.
Overview
On the new platform, filters have been redesigned to be clearer and more accessible. They are now organized into expandable sections within a dedicated panel: simply unfold a section to discover all filtering options and select the precise values to apply. The accessible sections are as follows:
- Period = specific dates or date ranges
- Key indicators = answers or scores from surveys, review sites and external sources (NPS, CSAT, CES, Google Score, advisor friendliness, repurchase intention, etc.)
- Comments & semantics = verbatims (answers to open-ended questions), parent concepts, child concepts and tones
- Additional data = Site, Customer, Journey, System and Experience metadata (experience_id, response date, source, email, completed survey, etc.)
- Alerts = alert types and statuses (to process, in progress, imminent expiration, etc.)
💭 Filters dedicated to alerts are only available in the "All interactions" tab of the platform.
⚠️ In the "Additional data" section of the filter selection panel, only the metadata defined as filterable in the metadata settings is displayed.
Understand period filters
Period filters allow you to target an analysis or results based on the selection of a time range. Below is the description of each period filter:
| Period | Type | Description |
| Today | Rolling | This day, from 00:00 to 23:59 |
| Current week | Rolling | This week, from Monday to today (and until the end of the week) |
| Last week | Rolling | Last week, from Monday to Sunday |
| Current month | Rolling | This month, from the 1st to today (and until the end of the month) |
| Last month | Rolling | Last month, from the 1st to the 31st |
| Last 3 months | Rolling | The last 3 rolling months, starting from today |
| Last 6 months | Rolling | The last 6 rolling months, starting from today |
| Last 12 months | Rolling | The last 12 rolling months, starting from today |
| Current year | Rolling | This year, from January 1st Y to today (and until the end of the year) |
| Last year | Rolling | Last year, from January 1st Y-1 to December 31st Y-1 |
| Year to date | Rolling | This year, from January 1st Y to today |
| All data | Rolling | From the beginning of the program to today |
| Specific period | Fixed | To be configured specifically in the platform administration (learn more) |
| Custom date | Fixed | To be defined manually |
Access filters
Whether your analysis focuses on an entire page or a specific chart, filters are always accessible in the top-left and right corners. Just look for these buttons to use them:
| The date range allows you to quickly configure a filter based on dates for your page | |
| The button with an icon representing a funnel gives you access to all available filters | |
| The button with an icon representing a cross allows you to reset the filters applied to the page |
Use filters
You can combine several types of filters to refine your segmentation. Active filters always appear at the top of the page.
Use period filters
Once the filter panel is open, expand the "Period" section. You can then choose a predefined date range (including your specific periods, learn more) or set a custom interval by filling in the date fields directly.
Once your filter selection is complete, click the "Add" button to apply it.
Use other filters
Once the filter panel is open, expand one of the sections. Start by choosing the type of filter, then select the single or multiple values to apply.
To include all available values with a single click, use the "Select all" button.
Whatever the filter used, once your selection is complete, click the "Add" button to apply it.
Use the filter search bar
In the "Key indicators" and "Additional data" sections of the filter panel, it is possible to use the search engine to easily find specific metadata, key indicators, or satisfaction items.
The search field therefore covers both elements and their specific values.
Expand the relevant sections to access the search bar, located in the upper right part of the filter panel.
To do this, simply enter a sequence of characters that form the label of the element you are searching for in the platform. A dropdown list then provides suggestions matching the section in which you perform your search.
After selecting the element, complete your filter by entering a few characters of the desired value on the same line.
To add another filter through the search bar, simply repeat the process on the next line.
You only need to click the "Add" button, then "Apply" to set your filters on the page.
