Adjust access rights to platform features for your users according to their specific operational needs. Easily create and manage your user profiles to restrict the scope of action for each team.
User profiles segment access rights to pages and features, according to your internal structure (roles, teams, departments, regions, partners, etc.). They manage permissions by clearly distinguishing viewing rights from admin rights on the platform. To learn more, see the related article: What is a user profile?
Access profile management
From the platform's administration center, you can create, modify, and delete the profiles of your account.
⚠️ The administration center is only accessible to users whose profile holds administrator privileges ("Manage").
To do this, from the platform's left sidebar, access the administration center by clicking on the "Administration" tab.
Then, in the administration center's left sidebar, expand the "Users and roles" section, then click on the "Profiles" sub-section.
Create a profile
To create a new user profile on your account, start by clicking the "Add a profile" button.
A new configuration panel opens on the right, allowing you to enter the information required to create a profile.

Start by assigning a name to your profile.
This name will appear in the user creation and editing panel.
In a multilingual context, if you have configured multiple languages in the program settings (learn more), we recommend naming your profile so that it is understandable for everyone.

Then select the role associated with the user profile (learn more).
- Rights associated with the profile
Next, choose the rights and authorizations that determine access to platform features for your user profile. To evaluate the content of each available right, see our dedicated article: The different rights available on the platform for your user profiles.
Once profile configuration is complete, click the "Save" button to create it.
⚠️ You can create as many users with a viewer profile as needed. However, make sure to respect the quota of users with user and administrator profiles defined in your contract, as any excess will result in billing adjustments.
Edit a profile
To edit an existing user profile, simply locate the profile on the "Profiles" page, click the vertical ellipsis icon (⋮), then click "Edit".

Make sure to click the "Save" button to apply all changes to the user profile.
💭 You can freely edit the label, the associated role, and the specific rights granted for each user profile.
Delete a profile
To delete an existing user profile, simply locate the profile on the "Profiles" page, click the vertical ellipsis icon (⋮), then click "Delete".
The profile will be permanently deleted from the platform.
⚠️ To preserve platform integrity, a profile that is still assigned to at least one existing user cannot be deleted. An error message will automatically appear in the top right corner of the page if this is the case. Make sure to identify the user still attached to the profile you want to delete and assign them another one.
