Drive platform adoption and measure the engagement of your collaborators and partners by monitoring user statuses.
In a few clicks, evaluate tool ownership by platform users by relying on the monitoring of their latest connections.
Connection statuses overview
Once their user account is created, collaborators and partners can freely access the SatisFactory platform to carry out their missions: viewing answers, analyzing data, or processing customer feedback.
Admins can monitor connection logs to get a precise, quantifiable view of user adoption.
The platform automatically identifies 2 types of statuses for users.
| Status | Description |
| Active | The user has logged in to the SatisFactory platform at least once in the last 6 months |
| Inactive | The user has not logged in to the SatisFactory platform during these last 6 months, or has never logged in to it |
The system determines the connection status by referring to the timestamp of the last access to the platform, without distinction between the standard connection mode and SSO.
💭 The use of the "Login As" feature is not included in the calculation of the connection status.
Access connection status monitoring
From the platform's administration center, you can monitor the connection status of the users on your account.
⚠️ The administration center is only accessible to users whose profile holds administrator privileges ("Manage").
To do this, from the platform's left sidebar, access the administration center by clicking on the "Administration" tab.
Monitor connection statuses globally
To monitor connection statuses of users globally on the account, you can directly access the "Overview" section of the administration center.
On this page, you can distinguish:
- The total number of users created on the account
- The number of active users on the account over the last 6 months
- The breakdown of the number of users by profiles
Monitor connection statuses in detail
To precisely monitor the connection status of a specific user on the account, you can start by accessing the "Users" tab, located in the "Users and roles" section of the administration center.
On this page, hover over a specific user and view the "Status" and "Last connection" columns.
⚠️ An inactive user who does not have a last connection date is a user who has never activated their account (find out more).
💭 You can download in a few clicks an export of your users (including their last connection date). To do this, we invite you to follow the procedure described in our dedicated article: Export the list of platform users.
