Access social network and competition management
From the platform's administration center, you can manage establishments and pages, whether they are your own or competitors' connected to your external data sources.
⚠️ The administration space is only accessible to users whose profile holds administrator privileges ("Manage").
To do this, from the left sidebar menu of the platform, access the administration center by clicking on the "Administration" tab.
Then, in the left sidebar menu of the administration center, expand the "Data and indicators" section, then click on the "Social networks" section.
Add a brand
Before adding a new competitor associated with a site or a page, it is necessary to add its associated brand in the platform.
To do this, you simply need to click on the "Brands" tab, then on "Add a brand".
You then simply need to give a name to the brand and (optionally) assign a logo to it.
Click on the "Save" button to save the brand and use it when adding new competitors.
Add a competitor from a social network or an external source
You have 2 methods to integrate new competitors into the SatisFactory platform:
- Manual creation: directly from the administration interface, ideal for occasionally adding a competing establishment or page
- Manual mass import: from a preformatted CSV file, to be used when you wish to configure multiple competing sites or pages simultaneously
Each method thus responds to a specific need depending on the volume of competitors to configure. Furthermore, the settings to define for these new sources are the same, regardless of the creation method.

Add a competitor manually via the interface
To add a competitor linked to an existing social network, you simply need to position yourself on the element (site, establishment, or page) in the "Social networks" page, click on the icon representing a vertical ellipsis (⋮), then click on "Edit".
A new configuration pane opens on the right, allowing you to access the settings of the concerned site or page. Click on the "Add a competitor" button.
This action makes the fields required for configuring new competitors appear.
- Label of the competing site or page
Start by assigning a name to your competing site or page.
This name will appear in the competitive analysis, as well as in the exports available on the platform.
To facilitate the reading of benchmarks, place the name of the brand associated with the competitor at the beginning of the label.
Example: Prefer "SatisFactory Levallois-Perret" to "Levallois Branch".
- Brand of the competing site or page
Select here the brand linked to the competing site or page.
This standardized label serves to consolidate all the pages or sites of the competing chain to generate a global comparison in the brand benchmark.
- Site URL
Complete this field with the specific URL of the competing site or page, necessary for identification and data extraction.

Once the configuration of the competitor is finalized, press the "Save" button to create it.
You can associate up to 9 competitors with a site or a page.
💭 The integration of historical data (last 24 months) of a new competitor into the platform can take between 2 to 3 days. The system queries the external source every 24 hours to ensure data updating.
Add a competitor manually by CSV file import
Build the import file with a spreadsheet program
Before being able to add competing sites or pages, the first step consists of preparing a CSV file. This file will be imported into the platform to create the competitors.
If you have already configured your own sites or pages, we recommend that you directly download the import template from the platform via the "Export" button.
Otherwise, retrieve the CSV site and competitor import template. It is available as an attachment to this article.

💭 In case of exporting the CSV template from the platform, everything preceding column G must not be modified.
⚠️ To respect the limit per import, we recommend that you create a separate CSV file for each site/page. Each file must not exceed 10 lines in total (the header line and the 9 lines of competitors associated with the site/page).
Load the CSV file into the platform
From the "Social networks" section of the administration center, click on the "Upload a file" button, located on the upper right part of the page.
Once the CSV template is completed and loaded into the platform, the competitors will be integrated and associated with the appropriate site or page. The integration of historical data (last 24 months) of a new competitor into the platform can take between 2 to 3 days. The system queries the external source every 24 hours to ensure data updating.
