Precisely identify your stores and those of your competitors to activate the collection of Google or TrustPilot reviews as well as competitive analysis on the platform.
To connect your Google Business Profile or TrustPilot pages to the SatisFactory's platform, or to monitor the e-reputation of your competitors, you need a unique technical identifier making it possible to link a specific establishment. We explain here how to obtain this essential character string to configure your integrations.

Presentation
In order to guarantee the reliability of data integrations coming from review platforms, social networks, and other external sources, SatisFactory requires the retrieval of a unique identifier for each establishment.
The reason is that each external platform assigns a unique identifier to each site or establishment. This fixed key guarantees a reliable and durable match, unlike the commercial name or the address, which are likely to evolve.
In the SatisFactory platform, this unique identifier (Place ID, Location ID, Business Unit ID, etc.) constitutes the central element making it possible to formally identify your sites as well as those of the competition.
Retrieve the Google Place ID and the URL of an establishment

The Place ID is a unique alphanumeric identifier assigned by Google to each place referenced on Google Maps. It presents itself in the form of a long string of characters (letters and numbers), generally starting with "ChIJ".
Google makes available in its API documentation an official and free tool to find this identifier easily.
Start by accessing the dedicated page within the Google API documentation: Google Place_ID Finder.
Scroll down the page to the interactive Google Maps map, then, in the "Enter a location" search bar, enter the name and location of your establishment to search for it.
In the list of search suggestions, select the appropriate establishment.
Copy the character string; it is the Place ID of the site.
The URL to specify in the SatisFactory platform is built as follows: It is a matter of completing the URL "https://search.google.com/local/reviews?placeid=", with the unique Google place_ID of the site.
Example: Integration page of the SatisFactory headquarters = https://search.google.com/local/reviews?placeid=ChIJKaxoY9Vt5kcR06GGPlzDKng".
💭 This method works for any establishment referenced on Google Maps, whether you are the owner of the listing or not.
Retrieve the TrustPilot Business Unit ID and the URL of an establishment
The Business Unit ID is a unique alphanumeric identifier assigned by TrustPilot to each referenced company. It is not the name of the establishment visible in the URL, but an internal technical code.
Start by accessing the public page of the concerned establishment on the TrustPilot website and display the source code of the page (via right click or the shortcut Ctrl + U).
Once the source code is open in a new tab, use the search function (Ctrl + F) and enter the term "data-businessunit-id" or "businessUnitId".
Copy the string of characters located right after this term; it is the Business Unit ID of the company.
The URL to specify in the SatisFactory platform is the one that you can find in the address bar, on the page of the concerned TrustPilot establishment.
💭 This method works for any TrustPilot company page, whether it is claimed or not.
Use the unique identifiers of an establishment
Whatever the source (social network, review site, marketplace, or booking platform), you can use the unique identifiers of the establishments for two purposes in SatisFactory:
- Integrate the scores and reviews of your own establishments (learn more)
- Analyze the scores and reviews of competing establishments (learn more)
Indeed, these identifiers are essential for the configuration of integrations on the platform, but they are used differently depending on the external source. If for a Google integration, the identifier serves as a root to generate the link, for other sources, you will have to directly use the URL specific to the establishment.
