Criteria used to calculate the colour of an attribute
The colour of an attribute is specific to each user according to their analysis perimeter. The colour of the attribute depends on multiple criteria that we detail here.
- Si l'utilisateur a un périmètre de comparaison
Position par rapport au périmètre de comparaison
This is the most important criterion for determining the colour of an attribute. If you are above your comparison perimeter (or below less than 2.5% for percentages, 0.05 for averages over 00, 0.025 for averages over 4 or 5), the attribute is green. Otherwise, the attribute is red or orange. In order to determine the exact colour of the attribute (orange or red), three criteria are taken into account: the deviation from the comparison perimeter, the importance of the attribute and the change in the attribute.
Importance of the attribute
The importance of the attribute, i.e. its ability to influence the global indicator (CSAT, NPS, Sat Glo, etc.), is taken into account. If your attribute is below its comparison perimeter, it is the importance of the attribute that will determine whether its colour is red (strong importance) or orange. Importance can be high, medium or low.
Change in the attribute
The change in the attribute is also taken into account. If your attribute is below its comparison perimeter, recent changes in the attribute will play a key role in determining whether its colour is red (decreasing score) or orange.
- Si l'utilisateur n'a pas de périmètre de comparaison
Evolution de l'attribut
With no comparison perimeter, this is the most important criterion for determining the colour of an attribute. If your attribute is up compared to the previous period (or down by less than: 2.5% for the percentages, 0.05 for the averages out of 10, 0.025 for the averages out of 4 or 5), it is green. Otherwise, the attribute is orange or red. In order to precisely determine the colour of the attribute (orange or red), the level of the drop and the importance of the attribute is taken into account.
Importance of the attribute
The importance of the attribute, i.e. its ability to influence the global indicator (CSAT, NPS, Sat Glo, etc.), is also taken into account. If your attribute is down compared to the previous period, the importance of the attribute will play a key role in determining whether its colour is red (strong importance) or orange. Importance can be high, medium or low.
Further information: If the system determines that you have too many red or orange attributes, it will change the less important ones to green so that you can focus on what really matters.
So don’t be surprised if attributes appear in green when their level of satisfaction is below the comparison perimeter.
Period used for calculations
The analysis period for determining the colour of an attribute depends on the number of respondents obtained for the attribute in question. The system mixes data freshness and margin of error. The minimum number of respondents for the selected period must be at least 30.
The different possible periods are as follows:
- “Last week”: last calendar week (change over the previous week). The week runs from Monday to Sunday.
- 'Week before last": calendar week before last (change over the previous week). The week runs from Monday to Sunday.
- “Last month”: last calendar month (change over the previous month)
- “Last 3 months” (change over the 3 months preceding them)
- “Last 6 months” (change over the 6 months preceding them)
- “Last 12 months” (change over the 12 months preceding them)
